When and where will the construction take place?

 

A

The first of ten construction projects along the State Road 789 corridor is programmed to begin April 22, 2009. The other projects are scheduled from summer 2009 through 2010 (click here for project information).

Will access to my business or home be blocked at any time?

 

A

The contractor will be required to maintain access to homes and businesses at all times.

 

Q

Will there be any lane closures during construction?

 

A

There will be temporary lane closures on State Road 789 during paving operations and construction of turn lanes (click here for lane closure information).

 

Q

What if I have irrigation, landscaping, a mailbox or other items located in the right-of-way that will be impacted by construction?

 

A

You will be contacted to remove items located in the right-of-way prior to the start of construction in the area. However, if the items are not removed by the time allocated, the contractor is permitted to remove and dispose of items to proceed with scheduled construction activities.
